How to Choose a Professional Driver Company in the UAE

Ten questions that separate a real driver company from a broker forwarding CVs.

Ask how drivers are verified

A serious provider can describe exactly what is checked — licence validity and history, visa status, identity, previous employment and, for own-vehicle drivers, registration and insurance — and how expiries are tracked.

Ask who supervises the driver day to day

Supply is easy; supervision is the differentiator. There should be a named operations contact, a defined escalation path and a review cadence, not just a phone number for emergencies.

Ask what happens when a driver is absent

Request the replacement commitment in writing: how quickly cover arrives, whether the back-up is briefed on your routes, and what happens if a driver resigns without notice.

Ask about scale and coverage

If you may expand to another Emirate or double headcount, confirm the provider has the network to support it under the same agreement rather than restarting procurement.
